Indre By is the medieval heart of Copenhagen, inside the line of the old ramparts. Strøget runs through it from City Hall Square to Kongens Nytorv; north of it are the Latin Quarter, the Round Tower and Rosenborg with the King’s Garden; to the south, across the canal, Slotsholmen with Christiansborg, Thorvaldsens Museum and Børsen.
