Church of Our Saviour
The spiral spire of 1752

Vor Frelsers Kirke was consecrated in 1696; its tower, completed in 1752 to a design by Lauritz de Thurah, has a spiral spire with an outside staircase. The climb is 400 steps, the last 150 outside the spire, to 86 metres. The church is open daily 11:00–15:30, and restoration runs from 2026 to 2028 (vorfrelserskirke.dk).
